POLYNESIA 2011 (1993 - 2011)

(fourth book of the photographic group "Occidental Voyage")

An overview along different years on social and environmental situation of Tahiti and its surroundings,

representation of the modern ills that subtly intrude on those populations, still naive and trusting, easy prey

to the society of consumption and hedonism. 38 large plates with colour pigments on fine archival paper, plus 10

pages of texts and support, with a foreword by Paolo Barbaro. First edition (2011), bound in cloth with gold lettering.

A research, both aesthetic and thematic, to invent a photography capable to narrate issues like the verbal writing do.
